Once in a while, we get the joy of sending a magical experience to a kid far away. Here’s Liam’s Goblin House - “A kit to make a magical house for your favorite fairy, dragon or goblin:”
Hi – thought you’d enjoy these photos of my 7 year old grandson and his delight with the goblin house. He put it outside with the light on so “real fairies” could find it at night. Thank you very much!
“That just made my day! Thank you so much for showing me what an amazing artist your grandson is! We have some very cool news to share here at Goblinarium. We are releasing our free app (pending approval from Apple now), so everyone can play with my dragons and goblins anywhere.
Have a wonderfully gobliny day! Brandy.”
Liam really loved the goblin house – spent 2 hours putting it together. He checks it every morning for fairy activity. Thanks again for providing such fun to all of us! Looking forward to the app – he will enjoy playing with the goblins and dragons I’m sure.
“I love to hear stories like this one, and share with our fans and my students. I am a teaching artist with inner city youth in Oakland, and work with elementary age students like Liam, who would love this story. I used to live on Oahu, near Manoa Valley, so these pictures just warm my heart and bring me right back to the islands.
With lots of Aloha and gobliny wishes, Brandy.”
Soon, many more students will have stories like this. Goblinarium has been approved for partnership to run workshops starting in early June, with Oakland Youth Aspire:
A free youth program open every Saturday, 12:30 to 5 PM. OYA enriches the lives of youth by creating a fun and welcoming environment that promotes a healthy lifestyle and fosters open communication, empathy, and the development of interpersonal skills.
